Yup, you read it right. A HUGE £15 off the RRP price of boxes of Sonny Angels. This offer covers all the series in stock and applies only to what we have in stock at the moment so it’s a real ‘when it’s gone, it’s gone’ offer.
Sonny Angels are one of our top sellers and we can see why. They’re cute, fun and are always in demand. It seems there’s lots of collectors of these sweet dolls around the world so why not take up a new hobby? (hint, hint)
As if we’re not spoiling you enough, we’re also offering a fantastic, super-cheap postage deal. Free post on all orders in the UK when you add any full size box of sonny angels to your shopping cart and use coupon code “sonnyangel” (all one word).
Offer finishes Sunday 30th April so don’t delay. In the words of the great Pharrell Williams ‘it’s a gift that keeps on giving’ (although we prefer this song as it’s, well, Happpy!)
We’ve added a few more michael miller fabrics that are new in for 2014.
We hope you like them. We’ve added 8 plain cotton couture fabrics (Amethyst, Apple, Berry, Cherry, Crocus, Limeade, Magenta, Raspberry). Although calling them plain is really an injustice as they are so vibrant looking, plus we have two other fabrics which would be ideal for boys and girls – as one is pink (as shown on the left) and the other is blue.
Yes, we have a cheap clothes sale. Oodles of them. An awful lot have been sent off to their new homes. There’s still a lot of quality stuff left though. Take a look for yourself. We’ve got Plastisock, Ej Sikke Lej, Elodie Details, Katvig, Mini Rodini, Molo and loads more. If you’re shopping for babies and toddlers then it’s perfect for you.
In other news my Spotify sewing playlist is growing. I can’t work in silence and have to get my groove on to get going. Have a listen or even better, follow me and we can have a sing-a-long! Just search me out; Lisa Stell.
So, what are you wearing? It’s not a trick question but I doubt you’ll give me the answer I’m looking for. Why’s that you may ask? Well, because you can’t see the things I’m asking you about. You can’t see them, you can’t feel them and you can’t smell them (you certainly can’t hear them). They’re the chemical nasties that your high street clothing is harbouring.
A recent report by Greenpeace highlighted that some of the big boys on the high street’s products, in particular clothing and shoes, contain some nasty chemicals that really are not doing you any good. In fact, some of these chemicals have been shown to affect the genetic makeup of animals.
The report entitled ‘A Little Story About The Monsters In Your Closet’, can be read here. It lists some of the companies that are selling these items of clothing…you might raise an eyebrow. Then again, you might not. We’re talking Disney, Primark, H&M, Adidas, to name but a few.
Here at FKHQ we’ve known about these for quite a while and why most of our fabrics are sourced from organic suppliers (and bear the OEKOTEX and GOTs organic certifications) and our handmade clothing are made from these. Please bear this in mind when you’re buying your next item of clothing from the high street.
